Traditionally, EEG technology has been bound within the confines of hospitals, clinics and medical offices. NeuroSky has reshaped the technology to meet important consumer criteria for wearability, price, portability and ease-of-use. The end result has been to open up potential applications of this technology to billions of individuals, whether sitting leisurely at home, with friends at a coffee shop or working at the office.

The NeuroSky Academic Program (NAP) was recently established to encourage universities, institutes and think-tanks to consider research projects in conjunction with NeuroSky’s dry sensor technology. We believe that academic institutions are particularly well-suited to advance out-of-the-box thinking in how this technology, now literally available to the average consumer, can improve the lives of many by removing usage barriers.

With these goals in mind, and in order to further stimulate interest in the NAP, NeuroSky is now offering a 50% discount from our current SDK licensing fee to all eligible entities.

NAP Eligibility

In order to be eligible for this program, the proposed projects must be conducted by or in partnership with accredited educational entities and research institutions. Secondly, the NAP is subject to the terms and conditions of the Academic License Agreement. Please contact NeuroSky for additional information.

We greatly look forward to assisting you in nurturing your unique ideas to fruition!
